The folks whose IRC server we were using encountered some problems with that machine that led to temporary downtime; unfortunately it ended up that the temporary downtime became permanent.
We’re now using another IRC server on the same IRC network – blizzard.pobox.com – thanks to Meng-Weng Wong from pobox.com.
The user counter still doesn’t work. I need to rewrite it. I’m not sure how to make it work right after the websites got split off of the machine that had IRC clients installed, but I’ll figure something out in the near future.
