cats are evil!

Without watching the movie, I agree, cats are evil.

   ROTFLMAO!!

Steve (cat-lover…I think…)

 Had a kitten once that climbed my bare leg while I was painting the ceiling..not funny! Instead of toss the feathers, I ended up tossing the cat the whole length of the room.

Reminds me of that well-known novel ā€œThere’s a Cat in my Bedā€ written by Claude Balls.

Ooo!!! Haven’t watched the movie, but cats are EVIL!!! :moreevil: I remember way back when, I was walking to the bus stop…in the early morning…dark…alone…and all along the road, millions (an exaggeration, of course) of cats, just staring. Glad those days are over!!!

Cats are most assuredly NOT evil. That movie is a prime example of the proper reaction of any animal to massive mistreatment by cruel humans.

Leashing a cat… what on earth were they thinking?

That’s what they do. They stare. They stare at you until you die and then they eat your face.

If I died, any one of my three cats would lie on my tummy until I cooled down then go off and seek someone a little warmer.

Steve

Ain’t it the truth!

Cats are not evil. They don’t have an aversion to evil, though, and they tend to take frequent walks on the dark side.

And, paradoxically, frequent naps in sunbeams. By the way, it’s been suggested that sunbeams germinate spores that turn into catness instantiations. It would explain a lot.

Oh, that is hilarious!! Poor cat.

I’ve had cats all my life. To me they’re just thick, affable, lazy buggers who somehow know how to get round you. I suppose they do lead a double life in that they go out and about on occasion killing smaller vertebrates, but they ain’t alone in having that trait and on the whole they contribute to human happiness. If you disagree I’ll set my tabby on you. He’s called Fig. :moreevil:

Okay, wise guys, let’s say a strange man (who really has a thing for pink tattoos) with a metal star on his shirt put a harness and leash on you, sat you down on his lap and started to tickle your neck without asking your permission. Wouldn’t you be getting a little nervous? Maybe even try to get away?

And then when you found a moment to make your move wouldn’t you get a little hysterical if the harness came off and then you were being choked around the neck by the leash and you couldn’t get away?

And then if someone comes to help the strange man by trying to put a box over you, well, would you think things were improving? Might it occur to you at some point that these people had something weird in mind and perhaps you’d better fight to kill because they were probably going to kill you?

Think about it from the animal’s point of view. He was behaving as any animal would (including brave enough humans) who thought his life was in danger. He doesn’t know he is the ā€œPet of the Weekā€!

Well, if it were a strange WOMAN I might give 'er ten minutes…

Steve

   Go Pinky Go!!!

Cats, like any animal, are incapable of being evil. They just have a totally different set of priorities from humans. If you pay them a little attention, their needs are easily met, and they reward you with a cuddle and a big purr. Who could ask for more?

I often marvel at how cats and dogs manage to handle the frustration of trying to communicate with us. They don’t take up smoking or drink camomile tea or anything. They just shrug it off to human stupidity and get on with life.

Haven’t seen the video. Can’t access it at work. For the record, I am totally a cat person. Don’t include me with that other shower, Cynth.

Sounds like utter bonehead stupidity on the part of the humans. With that sort of ā€œcontrol takes care of allā€ mentality (as it sounds), that lot’d be better off with a dog, probably, and a big one. They usually have more of a ā€œwhatever; hey, scratch my tummy now!ā€ attitude.

Just compensation.

If you see evil here, you need to get some new glasses. (I know you guys are just jokin’ around. I am besotted with cats obviously!)
