Don't die. Get a cat.

Cats are good for you.
At least according to one study.

I have 3. I hope it’s not like wine drinking, where a little per day is beneficial, but exceeding the recommended amount is worse than none.

All cats remind me of women. I don’t know why. They just do.

I don’t like cats. They’re too stuck up and pissy.

That’s just Dog propaganda. Some cats are very friendly and
some are less than fastidious (I have one that’s downright dirty).

Yup. If you want a cat that acts like a laid-back dog, get a ragdoll.

Since you’re willing to admit the prejudice, what better way to be more open minded.

Start with a cat
and proceed from there.

perhaps you should find out why cats don’t like you…

Yes. My best friend has owned a Ragdoll for years.

Big old pig of a cat.

Very dog like. They are very talky too. Oh and according to me friend… “Hey! Shes not fat! Shes just fluffy!”

My very giant British Shorthair is very dog like… much like a French Bulldog actually.

He sits up and other tricks too. He will even catch treats mid air tossed to him… while sitting up on his back legs!

Meee-ow!

A woman I occassionally meet through work has several kids, one with autism, a cat and a dog. When she gives talks about raising a kid with autism, she includes a cartoon her husband drew, which has the caption “Cats…are dogs, with autism”.

The drawing is mom, dad, two neurotypical kids and the dog on a couch, with the cat and the kid with autism doing their own thing, elsewhere.

Just another example of corporate media trying to get us to do something we shouldn’t. I tell you, it’s a conspiracy.

Meow.

Cats teach you the meaning of service. Or servility, whichever fits.

Cran, they are not pissy, they are hissy, for cryin out loud.

Cats are like people (and dogs). Some are jerks, some are completely aloof, some are in your face affectionate. We shouldn’t make generalizations about their reaction to the human race.
One of my cats likes to watch Law and Order with me, the caveat being that I don’t get to leave the couch until she decides it’s time to go to bed. But she’s wondefully companionable. A little unstable, maybe, but that’s another story for another time…

At least one form of animal life will be safe!

The operative words. You are so deceived by corporate media news you don’t even know you’ve become part of the conspiracy.

:boggle:

The study seemed to concentrate on Americans. I wonder if it works for non-Americans too? We have four cats, one for each of us in the family.

As long as you get American cats, it works. Those others are just cheap imitations, and probably won’t help you.

Are even cats outsourcing these days? They are big business.
