Can't afford the Tim Britton practice set on Ebay? Try thes

I’ve just listed a practice set of pipes by Nick Whitmer on Ebay. I believe Nick learned pipemaking from Britton. I am only selling because I bought a half set from Nick and don’t need both chanters. This is in playing condition and comes with two reeds and a really nice airtight MacHarg bag. After playing this bag, I’m buying a MacHarg for my Northumbrians.

If the buyer’s a C&F member, I’ll also throw in a Shaw A whistle that I’m not using (my Abell A gets all the practice time).

If you want to ask questions without wasting forum bandwidth, email me at hallt@louisville.edu.

Thanks

why , why , such a great deal , ?

A day and a half left in this auction…

Thanks for the “bump,” Tony. By way of shameless self-promotion, let me point out (and this is the sort of insight you only get on Chiff&Fipple) that my reserve price (not the Buy it Now price) is $100 less than the asking price of a Whitmer practice set currently listed on bagpiper.com’s classified ad section.
