I recently bought this CD and have had so much pleasure listening to it. It is filled with beautiful songs - just what you would expect from composers like O’Carolan, Jay Ungar/Molly Mason, and Traditional.

The whistle playing by Bob Pegritz (C&F Message Board member)is exquisite. Very tasteful arrangements with just the right amount and kind of ornamentation. As an added bonus, some songs include wonderful fingerstyle guitar solos and accompaniment. Also, there is a beautiful rendition of Red is the Rose featuring Charlie Zahm on vocals and Bob Pegritz on whistle.

P.S. The only thing I get out of this, other than sharing beautiful music with others, is to do my bit to encourage Bob Pegritz to make another CD.

I believe this is “Whistleworks”. I bought the CD and tape last year…really great.
I was in touch with Bob Pegritz recently and he told me there will be another Cd out later this year. You can also hear his whistling on some of El McMeen’s albums. Those are great to have too. :slight_smile: Gm

That is actually a coincidence. Bob Pegritz goes by Whistleworks here on the board.
