I’ve been thinking so much about it, and finally I’ve made my decision !
Here below are the whistles that I’d like to sale :
Water Weasel Bb in gray PVC made by Glenn Shultz (USA), tunable. Bought from a forum’s member few years ago. In almost perfect conditions, great tuning and sound.
150 USD
Busman High D in Pink Ivory and brass rings, tunable. Bought directly from Mr. Busman (USA), the voicing is on the quiet side as per my request. A very sweet sounding whistle with a great looking. Honestly speaking I’m still asking myself why should I sell this whistle ?
200 USD
Silkstone Ace D Plus (high D with buttom C hole) in polymer, four pieces construction, made by Paul Hayward (UK), tunable.
These whistles are rare and from what I know the maker do not produce them anymore. So I guess they can be considered a “rare” collectible musical instrument ?!
This is probably the high D whistle I’ve played more, around China, Italy and Denmark, mostly in the countryside, in fact his construction is the perfect one for a traveling whistle, solid and small packaging.
It is a very easy whistle to play, perfect tuning very balanced in between the two octaves, good volume, very woody sound and can be played also quietly.
As I’ve spend more time with this whistle than all the others, half part of me really hope nobody will be interested in this whistle. Actually last time I was lucky, nobody bought it !!!
300 USD
All the prices do not include shipping cost.
I can send photos of the whistles if you’re really interested in the purchasing of some of the whistles, just send me a pm with your e-mail address.
