I’ve got a brand new (signed/dated Aug. 2003) Burke composite session D whistle that I’d like to trade or sell. I paid $110 + $10 shipping.
It comes with a vinal soft case and all instructions/papers.
It is a nice sounding/playing whistle and I think a bit better than the previouse composite whistle design Mr. Burke used. It’s very balanced across the octaves in tone and volume.
I no longer have one of the old versions, but this new one has a Delrin head (which I think is one change) and the regular composite (thermoplastic resin + wood fiber) body.
I’d be willing to trade for any of the following:
preferred trade: Olwell Bamboo Flute in (low) D in excellent condition.
other interests:
- Colin Goldie Overton (high D)
- Reyburn (high D, but not the LB)
I might also take an old style Burke wide bore brass + 20 $$ if I don’t get any Olwell offers…
