Burke/Burke trade. Trade Complete. Thanks.

I’ve already made a trade of my Aluminum Burke for a composite session model.

Thanks. -Brett

Brett,

May I ask why you’re wanting to trade? Sound wise, those are all fairly close aren’t they? Is weight or material a problem? Just curious.

Good Luck

I used to have one of the old style brass Burkes, and it had a really nice 2nd octave (hard to describe). The Aluminum one I have now has a less ‘complex’ sound to it. The Aluminum is louder than the old brass, but I prefer the old style’s tone I think. I also like a whistle with a bit of weight to it, and the aluminum is light as a feather.

I haven’t tried one of the Burke composites, but I’d like to, so I thought I’d throw that in too in case anyone had one they wanted to trade.

I sent you a email re the whistles let me know if you get it.
