Burke Low D Composite Pro for sale

I played it yesterday for awhile. The last time I played it before that? I don’t remember. That’s why I’m putting it up for sale here rather than go to the eBay fleshpot.

I doubt anyone needs a picture of a Burke composite whistle. It’s a long black tube, the proof of what you can do with ceramics. This particular whistle has a beautiful flutelike tone in the lower register and a bit of bite when you get to G and A in the 2nd octave.

If I played it I’d keep it. I don’t play it anymore so it needs a home.

I throw in–well, not throw in exactly–one of Burke’s vinyl rollcases. It will help organize at least some of your collection.

He’s asking $200 for this particular whistle. His current lead time is six weeks. I’ve got the whistle right here. It’s in mint condition. With the rollcase, let’s start at $150. I am open to negotiation but I also have a floor number in my head. So please don’t offer me $35.

If you’re interested: no PayPal, credit cards, or personal checks. Money orders and bank checks, please.

Many thanks to the purchaser. The instrument is on its way to the Left Coast.
