She told me this morning that instead of saying good bye he told her,
“I’ll be baaaaack.”
and it was NOT a joke. He really did call. Well, at least his autodialer did. 
I have not seen her so excited about a telemarketing call in, well ever.
You mean in gruff Ahnold accent, or in a Hungarian accent a la Eva Gabor? “I’ll call you back dahling.”
Arnold called my home phone too and asked to vote for Republican candidates. It was a recording. I believe many California residents got the same recording phone call from Arnold.
Well, the Ziffels can understand him, and Mr. Haney, and Lisa, and just about everyone else except for Oliver.
I’m beginning to feel neglected. But maybe they aren’t calling registered Republicans?
Of course, whenever I get a call with a recording that says, “Please hold for an important message”, or something like that, I hang up immediately.
I know I’m not totally right for thinking it because I have some Republican neighbors that are very nice folks, but I tend to think Republicans are either jerks or just stupid. (actually jerks isn’t exactly the word I use) -mike

By my personal definition, being nice automatically entails that you are not a jerk or stupid. Many conservative people live right here on C&F and are extremely generous, kind, thoughtful, intelligent, beautiful individuals. DCrom, jim stone, and The Weekenders are all good examples of such people.

In these parts (as you probably know) it is not uncommon for people, even complete strangers, to be called “darlin”, which isn’t exactly the same as “dahling”, but still…
