Allow myself to introduce... myself

Hello all. I’m a new whistler, and I’ve been lurking around her for a bit. I decided to go ahead and register and not be such an anti-social person

I’ve been playing for a couple months now, and only recently got past the “Mary Had a Little Lamb/Twinkle, Twinkle” stage to being able to pick out a couple tunes by ear.

I’ve got three whistles: A Clark C, and two Acorns - both in D. It’s so interesting how they each have their own personalities. The Acorns are both the “same” but sound so different!

On the personal side, I’m in the Dallas Ft Worth area, married (no kids), and I work in software tech support.

That’s me

Orio, do you like your Clarke C? I have one too, and I’m not terribly happy with it. I’m wondering if it’s one of those “search long enough and you might get a good one” things. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyhoo, welcome to the forum! I hope it brings you a wealth of laughter and knowledge, as it has for me.

Thanks for the welcome!

I do like my Clarke C, very much. I’m wanting to pick up a Clarke D soon, and cross my fingers that it’s as good as that one. It’s got a mellow sound that I like quite well.
