my question is，what is the instrument in this tune？
wooden irish flute or a LOW-D whistle？

McGoldrick mainly plays Kerry Pros I think these days though Colin Goldie also lists him as a customer.

This video of him is quite recent.


Quite sure this is made by Colin Goldie. Whether they are his preferred whistles these days, or not, I have no idea.

The Low D in Morning Rory was a non-tuneable Low D made by Bernard Overton, he played it for many years until it got stolen.

The video link to Mike, he is playing a tuneable Alto F which he got in 2010 when visiting Colin to get a new set of whistles.
