Just sent a somewhat more complete review of “Gas Up My Hotrod Stoker, The Kwela Groove Frenzy’s Hit Town” ( really ) by The Positively Testcard to Dale for inclusion in the newsletter, but I love this thing so much I wanted to steer folks here in that direction a bit earlier.
This is a positively brilliant nouveau Kwela recording with some true whistle wizardry by Dave Woodhead. Perfect summertime party music, and a good fix for those afficted with the "Oh, no, not The Boys From Bluehill again! " blues.

Super Cool! Thanks for the pointer!
I already ordered their CD’s from Sterns in London, and the CD’s are great and the service was, too, less than a week between order and receiveing the CD’s! Yep, it’s great bouncy stuff. Wait’ll ya hear what they did with “Caravan!” Whoo-HOO!
Waiting for the Mothership…

Yup, Caravan is amazing! That’s on their 5 track Indestructible Beat of South Norwood disc, which is also terrific. Save yourself some transatlantic postage and order both at the same time.
