Hi, I saw on the Tg4 website that there was a newer documentary about Willie Clancy and the Willie Clancy Week. It was really well produced and it wasn’t the multi season Willie Clancy week music program. And I don’t mean the ITMA documentary.
I think was only last week that I watched the first minutes, but somehow can’t find it anymore. Does someone have the link to it? Or maybe by I can’t be watched anymore by non Irish IP addresses?

It was a repeat. They broadcast it in the afternoon yesterday, the first of the run. In fact I think it was the first of the 2022 series, the year we were all bouncing off the walls glad to have the week back and then all got Covid.
There are three full series on the th4 player all produced by Edel Fox.

Try it with Chrome. On Firefox in the states I get “This video is bad or in a format that isn’t supported by your browser.” Or maybe you’ll have to use a VPN.
In fairness, I may have been hasty in my reply. The documentary is an old one but it may have been a stand alone companion to the SSWC series : Willie Clancy : 50 Biain den Cheoil. It’s a sort of origins story of how the summer school came into being and it looks at the man himself as well.
I happened to catch it on Monday afternoon and watched most of it.
Hi thanks for you replies! I got myself a low priced VPN, switched it to Ireland and could see the documentary. Seems like non Irish IPs weren’t able to see it (although I didn’t see Cran_Dubh’s reply, so I didn’t check switching through various browsers)
The link works fine with MS Edge from Canada, but not with Firefox. Thanks for the pointer.
