Heres the bit in the paper about a new series on TG4.Its on Sunday 22nd November at 22.00.

The new six part series continues to open a door to the heart and soul of six giants of traditional Irish music .Willie Clancy is certainly one of the best known names in traditional Irish music and he is rightly revered for mastery of the Uilleann pipes,but what do we know about the man himself ? In this programme ,Peter Browne reconnects with Willie Clancy, a man he first met as a child and who continues to be a major influence on Peter’s musical life .

Well, tg4 didn’t post the special on Tommy Potts, so my guess’d be they’ll give this the same treatment!??

They did post the special on Darrach O’Cathain. I sent an inquiry re: the posting of the Willie special. I will let ‘you’ know anything when I hear back from them.

I was able to view this program at http://www.TG4.tv > Ceol - Cartlann > Cerbh E?. English subtitles were most helpful.

But holy cow! My jaw nearly hit the floor during the ads at the start of the video- 30 Euro for a 24 pack of Budwiser!?!
