whistlers in germany arround Wuppertal Köln?

Hello,
now I am playing whistle for over a year. I mainly learn with the internet a book I bought.

But I would like it much more to play and learn with other whistles.

So my question: Is ther a Whistler in Germany, maybe located in the ‘near’ (I would travel some some miles!) of Wuppertal?!!!

Hi Moritz,
if you have a free afternoon and evening today, get over to Solingen, there is a folk/folk rock festival there today with some whistles being played…

Hi Moritz,

there are some VERY good whistlers/fluters living in your area but I’m not sure if they will give lessons.

Anyway, you can find whistlers in the lokal sessions. You will find monthly trad. sessions in Krefeld, Solingen and three or more monthly sessions in Bonn. An overview can be found at www.currach.de (I-Rundbrief).

I am sorry for my late answer!

Thanks for your help. I did not know that there ist so much about Tin Whistlie in my area.

I was at the Festival in Solingen. Sadly I’ve got you message at 6 o’clock. But I drove with a friend to the stadium. Because we had not enaugh money, we sat for a few hours behind the fence and listend to the music from some distance. It was great, but we were a sad that we missed such a great festival (ca. 5 miles away from home!!!). My friend an I are feedlersgreen fans.

I also tried the links from you (Alexander). I thing I will go to the whistle workshop at the end of the next month.
