Whistle wanted: Brass Copeland low D

Yeah, so some of you know I was checking out Reyburns and went over to Doc Jones’s today. He helped me discover that I don’t care for Overtons and don’t want a Reyburn. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t sell me his Copeland. So I think I might be in the market. Email/post/msg me if you’re interested.

Doc it was brass, yes?

Wow that was quick! Two hours ago she was saying she would never be able to afford a Copeland.

Warning: Copeland separation anxiety can strike swiftly and without warning. If you don’t intend to buy one please don’t try one.

Doc

Yup it was brass.

Doc

P.S.
You do want a Reyburn. You just didn’t play it long enough.

No no …I wouldn’t be able to afford a NEW one…but as I recall you did some fancy footwork acquiring yours, so I figured I’d see if there were any lonely Copelands out there!

Besides, my boyfriend has been wondering what to get me for Christmas…grin

PS - Well if I had to choose between Reyburn and Copeland, I would go Copeland! And I am quite sure I can’t afford BOTH. I really liked the conical setup, that was cool.

Doc, now that you’ve tried them both (and practically everything else, too!), which one has the best sound?
