Whistle Photos - Keepers and Some to Sell

I organized my whistles the other day, for three reasons:

  1. See which I want to keep;
  2. See which I can sell;
  3. See which I can sell to benefit UNICEF.

I’ll be using ebay Giving Works to auction some of the whistles. This way the proceeds from the sales will go to UNICEF which happens to be my charity of choice for 2007.

On to the photos…

My Keeper Whistles:
This is the complete collection (less one) that I am not going to sell. :slight_smile:

This is the one that was on my desk (big surprise) so it missed the group photo. It’s my Reyburn Session Soprano D. This one has the classic delrin head.

Ronaldo Reyburn is making a new style head now, of which I have one. I’ll be posting pics , with some comments, of the new head on my C tube in another post.

And the last pics of my keepers are the four I play most often.

Whistles to be sold:
Now some pics of whistles that will go up for sale on ebay before the day is done. The Serpent Chrome Molybdenum Low F and the Shaw whistles will all be sold using ebay Giving Works. This way the proceeds will go to UNICEF.

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports child survival, protection and development worldwide through education, advocacy and fundraising. For every child, Health, Education, Equality, Protection ADVANCE HUMANITY

The O’Brien narrow bore high D, Hudson Wind high D, and Copeland high D will not be sold to benefit charity. They are all terrific whistles, but not played as often as my keepers. And I had some health issues this summer that resulted in significant uninsured expenses. I can give up a few good whistles to gain a little financial sanity.

I’ll share more information on the sales in separate posts.

Peace and blessings to y’all,
