FWIW we had a concert here last night with loads of nice music (see the ITM board). Radio na Gaeltachta will broadcast it on tuesdaynight. Broadcasts go out live on the net and usually the programs will be downloadable later from their website.. It would be worth it if you only listened to (16 or 17 year old) Anne Ruth Benagh playing the dear Irish Boy which she learned form her grandfather Tommy McCarthy, on the whistle. But while you’re at it, the concert had a massive line up, Jackie Daly and Paul de Grae, Conor Keane, Joe Burke, John Carty, Eamon and Geraldine Cotter with Geraldine’s daughter Maeve Boyd, Tommy Keane and Jaqueline McCarty, Edel Fox and loads of up and coming young fellas, Dympna O Sullivan with John Weir and Ethne ni Dhomnaille, Kitty Hayes and myself (yeah yeah I know :roll: ), lovely singing by Mick Flynn and loads more. Brilliant night.
