Thank you, Peter! That is so cool! I listened to Irish radio commercials…I love it! I am listening to the traditional music session (1-2 PM my time) now.

Dang I missed it. The time was a little odd for me, 3-4 am here. Ordinarily I would have stayed up but its examination period right now. Oh well, this may be a silly question but was it good?

It was not too bad, I had expected a bit more form Willie Kelly’s playing after hearing a lot about him. In fact I though Siobhan wa a lot more solid playing with him.
Tomy Linnane was suberb as to be expected although in his solo pieces Geraldine Cotter’s piano drove home the message that a solo instrument should be just that.
They did a few group pieces that were OK, although starting on a few Kerry reels (Bank of the Ilen/New post office)which I play just about weekly with Jacky Daly was a bit all too familiar. The group really came together in the last piece starting with the Ash Plant which is one of my favourite tunes, simple very effective reel.

On this same thread, I just stumbled across a nice online Irish radio site: http://www.liveireland.com/
