Where once was buzz, I have created music!

I tweaked the crap out of a buzzy feadog with an exactoknife and made it unplayable. I slapped a piece of duct tape on what was left of the blade, and now it works great. It’s quiet and sweet, with a good amount of back pressure.

I don’t know how permanent it is… but, hey, duct tape is plentiful and it doesnt take much.

:astonished: Hey Jerry Freeman watch out

Ummmm, Chiff Fipple… I’m a fan of bodacious fipples as much as the next guy, but that avatar is TOO weird!

yeah, you don’t like the turquoise-blue with the mesh-thingy either, do ya?

Amar,
That represents snake skin, which is symbolic to the tempting of mankind, which is what the rest of Stacey’s avatar pix are doing.

Tipped you hand Paul now we all who complained before

I just wish the picture would slow down a bit…and I would love to meet Stacy and her bodacious fipples!!!

i hope you don’t mind my correction of your above post..

In theory… if the picture were to be sped up enough, than a certain refresh rate on your monitor (or any of its divisors) would produce a still pitcure.

Well, that’s my outside-the-box thinking for tonight.

Why, why do I even bother posting at 4:03 AM?

Edit:

And it isn’t at all like my jerrytone, the differences are

  1. The duct tape gen is sweet-sounding instead of rough-sounding

  2. The duct tape gen plays a wee bit easier in the higher octave for about a minute or two

  3. The duct tape gen then proceeds to require adjusting, on account of all the high-register blowing has made the blade cover the whole windway.

So no, Jerry doesnt need to watch out. He just needs to find a way to mount a new duct tape blade under the original one, then slap a piece on top to stop the new blade from moving, then sell them at a premium and send me a 15% royalty.
