Very high e on Olwell Bamboo?

I’m trying for the third octave
on my low D Olwell bamboo flute,
which is really a super flute, IMHO.
Well, I’ve tried the standard
fingerings for the third octave
e and they don’t seem to work.
I’ve got all the other notes
in the third octave.

Patrick sent a fingering chart,
but it doesn’t go up that high.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hmm, I haven’t tried to go that high on the one I just got…can’t try it either at this time of night! I’ll let you know if I have any success next week while the neighbors are at work :smiley:

enough conviction. Sometimes it’s
there, sometimes not, but this
is the first time it’s there.

Higher than that I haven’t tried.
