I picked up a boxwood stock and bass drone froom I believe a set of d smallpipes on ebay a while back.
I now have a C chanter.
Is there any chance the drone will work tuned down to c with an uilleann c chanter.
I imagine there would be huge pressure differences. The reed seat on the drone is tiny. it is not reeded.
Should work OK with a long reed and weight on the tongue. Might be on the quiet side.
