At the Lunasa concert tonight, someone mentioned a festival coming up at the end of the month in Sabastapol. Does anyone have any info?
Thanks

Here’s a link to the web site, Stout:

I notice the Josephine Marsh Band will be there… they should be good. If you’re interested, she has got RealAudio on her website. And if you go, be sure to see my pals in Bohola!

The original URL is correct but the link includes a BR tag at the end (which has angle brackets too but I don’t want to include them lest I warp this message).

I went to the Sebastopol festival last year, and it was great. Cherish the Ladies and Lunasa headlined the concerts on Friday and Saturday night, and Kevin Crawford hosted the flute and whistle workshop (which if I recall correctly, was mainly a Q&A session). I’ve checked out the workshops for this year on the website, and it looks like no whistle workshop this year, but it’s definitely a fun festival, for anyone who can make it up there I recommend it.
Late notice, I know, but due to some unhappy circumstances I’ve got a full festival pass (Friday night concert [preferred seating], Saturday day, Saturday night concert [again, with preferred seating], and Sunday day) for this weekend that I can’t use. FREE, to anyone who can arrange to pick it up from me before tomorrow afternoon.
Leave your phone number in a private message to me, here on the board, I’ll check them this afternoon and call back anyone who has expressed interest to see if we can arrange a pick-up.
