If you live in the Bay Area, you might want to check out the Free Folk Festival this weekend. It’s Sat & Sun, and there’s workshops and concerts galore. There’s a whistle workshop, an Irish slow session, and Irish dancing classes - plus LOTS more dance & music, and informal sessions as well. There’s ITM as well as stuff from other traditions.

I’m not a promotor, just a fan, and encourage people to come because it’s a great festival. And it’s all FREE!

Just came back from Saturday’s festivities and had a grand time. Tomorrow, things kick off with a whistle workshop at 12 noon!
