I’m really trying to find a UP teacher in Melbourne, Australia (or in the state of Victoria). Does anyone have any suggestions??? I know that there is a UP teacher for the Music Under The Mountains (which is actually my area now that its not in TAS anymore), does he live in VIC???
While you’re waiting for a reply, M.H., try posting in the Teachers Wanted Forum. Could be someone with the info doesn’t peruse the Pipes Forum for some reason. Not that I can think of any (okay, y’all, no smart remarks from the peanut gallery ), but you never know.
The Music under the Mountains instructor is actually a resident of Canberra.
If you search this Forum there is another mention of a School being run around New Year, in Vic. I think the instructor for that School is from Adelaide.
Hi Everyone this is the email about the Lake School in Koroit Victoria that Felix Meagher the organizer of the event sent me. This is a general destribution email that is sent to anyone that is interested in attending the school and has a general overview of the event and will be posted on the website at a later stage. So I’m sure that’d he’d be happy for me to post it here. For privacy reasons I have omitted his contact details from this post, to avoide Felix getting bombarded with spam emails and cranck calls etc.

If you whish to get access to Felix’s contact details if your serious in attending please contact me via PM and I’ll froward them privatly. I attended this event last year and enjoyed the easy going atmosphere of the place. There was a really nice ‘no ego’ vibe to the session night and it was expected that anyone who turned up with an instrument would play. Even if it was one or two songs. You really did feel welcome.
