Hi Everyone,

I have hit a wall with my site regarding the amount of space and bandwidth I take up. My ISP won’t allow it any longer. I am temporarily hosting the files on my work server… but I can’t get away with that for long! I think they’re on to me already :frowning:

Anyway, the reason I am writing this dissertation is to see if anyone is willing to share the load? If you have server space you’d be willing to host some MP3’s on I’d greatly appreciate it. In exchange I can offer a banner on my site and good karma?

Any takers? The future of free piping info online is in jeopardy…!

I’m running two websites right now… and looking to switch hosts. I should have some space and bandwidth available after the move.

I’v also some space and bandwidth available as currently my own web projects are frozen (it’s better to invest some time to handle this %/&#% pipes one day than spending ours in front of the computer :wink:) and I can still use our university server for private purposes.

I currently have some space to spare on WORLDTRAD.ORG, but MP3s can blow bandwidth pretty quickly if not limited in size (and demand). Probably pretty easy to host the rest. Maybe you can email me with some details about how much you are using/anticipate/are willing to live with.

Then maybe we can get away from flutes and put together a piper’s obsession CD.

Hi Guys,

Thanks a million for your replies! I was slammed at work yesterday and didn’t have a chance to reply.

I suppose 100megs or so of space with a limit of two or three downloads at a time would be great. Just so I don’t have each clip at a sifferent location… but if I need to do that then so be it.

The files range in size from about 5 to 40Meg with a total of about 420Megs altogether. I am only looking at the MP3’s for now… I might be able to get away with the WMA’s and RA’s.

Let me know [privately at pat@uilleannobsession.com if you prefer] what you are capable of doing and I can get files to you then… they are still available on my site temporarily so you could just download them from there if you like? Specifically, it’s the radio link’s that are an issue… they have added up quickly!
