Typing ABC into my ABC Transcription Tools using a WARBL

You can now easily enter ABC into my ABC Transcription Tools using a WARBL USB wind controller.

Additionally, I’ve mapped many keys in the C, - B, range (MIDI notes 36-47) to insert common ABC macros:

36: Space
37: Backspace
38: |
39: /
40: 2
41: 3
42: 4
43: (3
44: |:
45: :expressionless:
46: ||
47: |]

so if you are using an actual MIDI keyboard, you can just hit keys in that lower octave to insert the timing, barline variants, etc.

The WARBL has only three buttons, so I mapped them to space, bar line, and backspace.
