You can now easily change the key of the displayed tin whistle tablature.
The tin whistle tablature displayed when clicking the Whistle tab selector button is for a tin whistle in the key of D by default.
To optionally change the key of the displayed whistle tab, you can include the following annotation anywhere in the ABC for a tune:
% Change the whistle tab key
%whistle_tab_key (key)
Where key is the letter name pitch of the whistle.
For example, to change the tin whistle tablature to be displayed for a tin whistle in the key of F:
%whistle_tab_key F
Another example, to change the tin whistle tablature to be displayed for a tin whistle in the key of Bb:
%whistle_tab_key Bb
If you wish to shift the tablature up or down an octave, you can include the following annotation anywhere in the ABC for a tune:
% Change the whistle tab octave
%whistle_tab_octave (integer)
For example, to change the tin whistle tablature to be displayed for a tin whistle in the key of G, but shifted up an octave:
%whistle_tab_key G
%whistle_tab_octave 1
If either annotation is placed in the ABC file header, they will apply to all of the tunes.
