Just thought I would let you know about a fairly new feature on the Lúnasa web site.
Kevin has recorded some tunes and uploaded the video clips to the web site for anyone who would like to learn them.
A new clip will be added each month. This months clip is Tom Busby’s jig , the previous two months clips are also still available.
The clips are in quicktime format, there is a free download for anyone who does not already have it.
Requests for future months tunes can be directed to Kevin through the bands online messageboard.
If you would like to check it out you can follow this link http://www.lunasa.ie/kevinsTunes.php
or go to www.lunasa.ie and click on Kev’s Tunes at the top right of the page.
Wishing you all an enjoyable summer…
Thanks for the heads up. Nice videos.

Is it the angle of the camera shot or does Kevin pull up the left corner of his mouth?
there is a clip also on custy’s music shop, where he does the same.

I’m also having trouble seeing the clips. It’s probably because I’m on dial-up. My computer keeps telling me to “Click to run Active X controls on this page.” Hmmmm. I click OK on the dialogue box. But what do I click to run Active X on the page? Anyone know how to do that?
Thanks,
Jeanie
I just got it to play the tunes (no picture, like Mary). Very nice, indeed! More tunes to learn!
I didn’t see anything, but I heard it.

I looked at the site, and heard a fine piece of flute music, at least. I also hear this music on The Thistle and Shamrock radio program. Thank you!

Excellent! Thanks much for that!!
Though it’s not the ideal, lots of people play a bit off to one side or the other. HOWEVER, lest anyone get the wrong idea, I can personally certify that a “catawompus” embouchure will not guarantee you a Kevin Crawford sound.
