“Mháthair agus garsún” is how I would have done it. There are lot’s of ways. The “Mathair 's mac” sounds very Scottish to me, maybe I’m just displaying my ignorance of Gaeilge now? ![]()

Have to be evil here and confuse you with the Northern version:
Máthair is mac
MWEH-hair iss MAHK
(with a Spanishy “r” on the end of máthair–not rolled like crazy, but at least a little tap with the tongue. If you’re American, trying saying, “mweh-heddis mahk” quickly; the “dd” will give just about the right sound.)
