More Gaelic help (Óró sé do bheatha 'bhaile)

I’d considered asking this here before, but haven’t yet. But since the recent posting with another Gaelic question, I figured I’d give it a shot.

I heard Sinead O’Connor sing this song and I liked it. However, my favorite version so far is from a simple setting on Youtube:

Anyway, I’ve found the lyrics online, and the translation. That’s no problem.

What I’m having a problem with is phonetics. I know nothing about Gaelic except that most of the words I’m seeing aren’t spelled the way they sound. And, I’m just having a hard time picking up the phonetics from just hearing it (or seeing lips move). They still just sound like random vocals to me.

Here’s a link to the lyrics:

There are several other sites with lyrics online as well.

Anyway, would any of you be willing to help out with the Gaelic phonetics?

Thanks,
Jason

It may take a little work, but here are a few websites that will help with the phonetics:
http://www.erinsweb.com/gae_index.html
http://www.fiosfeasa.com/bearla/language/intro.htm
http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com/

That’s the best site I’ve found. you can listen to the different sounds of vowels and consonants, lenition, etc. looking at someone else’s phoenetics doesn’t generally do much good, but writing out your own might.
