Too good to be true?

So I responded to a Miami Craigslist ad for a keyed Sweet flute thinking it was a misprint but it appears that its really a scam:

Hello,
First of all , thank your for your quick reply,
I must tell you that now I’m in Romania with business but this is not a problem. We will use DHL shipping company to make this deal. You will receive it in maximum 4 days.
The payment will be made by a method used by DHL.
They will contact us with all the instructionrs to proceed the deal. Shipping and handling will be paid by me.
If you agree to make the deal, i will contact them and they will contact you by email.
I am looking forward to your answer.
Friendly greetings!

Offhand, I’m inclined to agree with your perception. For one thing, there’s simply too much emphasis on “The Deal”, and far too little about the flute itself.

I’d pass.

DHL does not offer payment services other than COD. Furthermore, a transit time of only 4 days from Romania to Michigan is rubbish, even with courier express which would cost lots and lots of bucks.

I suggest you report it to Craig’s list as well, so they will pull the ad.
