As I have a Fred Rose D flute on the way and recently purchased a Bleazey G flute it is time to part with my speckled bore, which I understand Doug is no longer able to supply, 3 piece D flute; with in-line holes and wedge. I have fiited the flute with rings partially because I liked the appearance but also as it offers a degree of protection to the surface of the flute when laid down.
I will consider any reasonable offers, either money or an exchange; anything interesting considered.
Whilst I would be happy to post anywhere I feel the cost of UK postage probably means either the UK or Europe would be more realistic.
Im not interested in your Tipple but i will be very appreciated if u could tell some more about ur Bleazey G. What wood is it ? How does it play ? Some pics would be wonderful. I laid my eyes on it these days, however Phil doesnt have Boxwood at the moment and no pic or sound clip available except the one on his web
This is the Bleazey G that TommyK was offering sometime ago and I recently received.
It is in blackwood and has a Fn thumb hole. As a beginner it is difficult to give you an accurate feel for it’s sound but I am finding it very enjoyable and am managing to get into the second octave with a degree of consistency, which I have not been able to do on other flutes.
It was a shame 'cause i missed this flute sold by Tommy at the end due to short of finance. So u were the lucky guy, congratulation. If u intend to take pics of the Tipple please also take some of the G.
