Hello all,
I have a very nice Phil Bleazey flute made of a lovelly piece of Boxwood three piece with brass rings, I bought it recently and have spent £30 getting it cleaned, the previous owner had lubricated the bore with what looked like linseed oil, it had gunked up the bore with an orange colored substance, its still played well, but plays lovely now as its all cleaned, I think its an older bleazey as I cannot see this design on his website, not in D anyway his f and g flutes are quite similar, this particular flute also has no stopper in the end, again i’m not sure if this is how it was constructed, as I know Martin Doyles celtic models have no stoppers in the end,
the boxwood is beautiful, there is one mark on the back of the headjoint, it looks like a crack but its not, its not visible from the inside and if you run your finger over it its not raised.
the embouchure hole is perfect without any nicks of gouges, the tennon corks are perfect as is the headstopper cork, if you need to the head joint can be pulled out about 4 or 5 mm without falling off, also you will notice from the pics that the holes are very small great if you have small hands, this is very nice playing flute and although it has small holes it is capable of a very decent volume with the added bonus of that lovelly boxwood tone, I innitally bought it as a travel flute, as I have a keyed boxwood Noy and have serious issues about taking it off on long journeys, I know its silly but we all have our own little fears when woods concerned, any way I need to raise some cash for a decent flight cased for the Noy and a new sony d50 recorder so if your interested in the Boxwood Bleazey send us a PM. I am looking for £200 inc shipping worldwide, which I think is a pretty good price for a great flute. pics below

I am based in the UK so uk postage will be royal special -USA AND EUROPE wil be international signed for, far flung destinations maybe bring the price up to £215
If your near West Sussex then your welcome to come have a blast on the flute and see what you think
