FS - Tipple Bb & Eb flute (Lip plates & wedge)

Alright guys!

Up for sale is my Tipple flutes which are in my view the best low cost flute around! Alot of flute for the buck!

I ordered these flutes around 5-6 months ago & they have always been kept in there covers/bags.

In total both the flutes cost me around £130 (The cost for the Eb flute with inline finger holes is $70 + $20 lip plate $ 10 wedge = $100 USD, The cost of the low Bb flute with offset finger holes is $80 + $20 lip plate + $10 wedge = $110 USD.)

Selling because im trying to slim down my flute collection before my new LeHarts arrive!

Looking for offers on both flutes! P.M me if intrested!

Here are some pictures of the flutes & also a video of me playing the big Bb flute. (just noodling about! Sorry about audio quality - it was recorded using my phone!)

Before he sent me one of his big, Bb flutes, Doug Tipple warned me about the spread of the right hand tone holes, saying that he uses his R1, R2, and R4 fingers to play it, and, by golly, he was right! It’s a big spread.

Beyond that, however, I can recommend the Tipple Bb flute, as an accurate, working flute, and as a very low cost way to explore one of the more satisfying flutes ever made.

Because its response time is just slightly slower than that of the higher pitched flutes, it’s not the better flute for the faster dance tunes. Yet, it’s exactly the right flute for some of the slower airs, as it easily can bring out the “soul” of a tune, provided the player has it.

Bump!

Still up for offers on both!

Chris!
