This one is in the key of "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Alexandra Marie MacKenzie Maze

She requires very little pressure to jump up into the second register. The upper octave “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!” is a bit sharp, but hopefully that will come into tune somewhere around puberty.

Newest female piper… look at those fingers! she loves the pipes, flute, box… my wife is SO screwed!!

first track on one of her Baby development cd’s is the Chieftains of all things… go figure!

Congratulations John and Linda! Good luck trying to get that chanter back!

Well, Alexandra Marie, we females are very happy to welcome such a comely little one to the UP forum. Shrieking in any register is highly encouraged.

I will point out that she has her father’s good taste in sticks… that one’s a Koehler I believe.

Outstanding, Mr. Maze, and congratulations to you and the Mrs.

Don’t be surprised if she’s a bit scared of the drones at first, that’ll just be a phase she’ll get over soon enough.

Cheers,

Congratulations Maze!

Sleepless nigths awaits you!

Just wait untill she insist on sitting on your lap while you are playing…

Congratulations!

Having two of these sets myself, let me give you fair warning, after about two years of ownership these models tend to go somewhat flat and will only play in the keys of “nooooo!” and “mine!”

Congrats! She’s a cutie pie! (oh no, don’t start that again)

congrats

   Congratulation

The kids certainly reduce the amounts of time you can play your pipes but it is worth it.

Have Fun

Congratulations John! She’s a beauty! Let the sleep deprivation begin!

Patrick.

the disturbing part of it is… she kind of resembles one of my piping heros… Professori McNamara… and alas, he was here in florida 40 weeks prior to her birth exactly… hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

CONGRADULATIONS John!

It looks like she is ready to drool all over your K&Q stick. I don’t know what your wife will think of two pipers  My soon to be would kill me if I even suggested it.

ROFL… you don’t REALLY want comments on the comparison pics, do you?

They have the same hair style!  (I can say that since I do too!). -g

Whatever you do, don’t mistake the formula for bag seasoning, or vice-versa.

Congrats John!

I just love the name! You must train her from an early age to not change that name when and if she ever marries.
