Do you have any low whistles? There were times in the first few months when my baby was inconsolable, and I played her to sleep with low whistles. At least I like to think so.

Congratulations, Scott… My 7 year old daughter, Sarah, keeps her Hoover whitecap high D in the back seat of the car, and plays it a lot. She and Mack converse by e-mail. I really love the whistle community.

Actually, little David is number six for me and my wife. Our oldest won’t be ten until December, hence my signature. But, of all the people I know, IMO they are the finest. I don’t mind surrendering any whistles to any of them, just as long as they use them for something resembling music and not as things to hit each other with. Ain’t kids great!
Kids are wonderful. For only 4 days old, David sure looks alert and happy. Neither of my kids was so photogenic at 4 days. Of course, they are both beautiful, now. I’d love to have a half dozen of them.

Don’t count on it. My youngest turned 18 in July. In August she couldn’t seem to figure out how to hang up the phone and ran up $600 in airtime charges on her wireless…
And don’t even get me started on my 21-year-old son’s adventures (at least he’s out of the house and his problems are mostly his own)…
