new suits!!! cool!!!
Looks like a dandy way to get dead…
I’ll never understand the obsession with flying. It is is quite easy, just throw yourself at the ground and miss.
This looks really fun and I would love to do this, if like all thngs in life, I could do this at 3mph. I live in the slow lane.
One of the big problems with base jumping is getting your chute caught on whatever structure you are jumping from. We had a SEAL buy the farm just a few months ago because his chute caught the tower where he was doing an illegal jump. I can see that a flight suit can negate this if conditions are right. I just wonder how much strength this takes, I could see my rotators cups getting torn in short order with a sudden violent up-draft. I’d want a different coloured suit, don’t want to look like a giant Cardinal.
This is nothing, Studebaker Hoch was doing this with the aid of aluminum-foil wings, flies, and Aunt Jemima syrup 40 years ago.
At 3 mph and 3 feet from the ground for me.
I do this every night. It’s easy.
that was two years ago ![]()
what caused…
This is how some crazy Norwegians do it!!

What is the glide ratio on those things?
If the guys in the mad fly suits just missing their waiting friends weren’t excitement enough, the young girl who put her chair on top of the rock wall at the edge of a big cliff gave me the shivers. It’s a good thing that I am not a parent. I don’t think that I could stand the trauma.
