Hi guys,I have just had my first MICROLIGHT flying experience and have decided to give up whistling.
If you have tried MICROLIGHTING you’ll know why.

A buddy and I built one back in what we call our “dipshit twenties” out of an old porsche 911 turbo engine…the engine ended up being a little bit heavy… 
Get one that has floats!
BTW, I don’t think whistles are an ‘inexpensive hobby’ for Phil.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think I’d only give up the whistle if the little plane I was flying in crashed 
If I could figure a way to afford an ultralight, I’d give up whistles in a heart beat!
Nothing and I mean nothing can come close to open cockpit flying.

weeeeeeeeeee…oh yesssssssss…playing with this little bugger looks so much more fun than playing whistles!!

I saw the clip. Seems like there’s a lot of chiff and the air requirements are rather high.
And then there’s what happens if you drop it! 
As much as I have always dreamed of sky-diving, and of the ultra-light temptation, I am going to choose staying grounded … now… if Mr. Hardy decides he needs to find loving homes for his soon to be neglected little whistles… I’m up for that challenge!

That clip just cofirmed my opinion. The take-off looked mighty fun alright if zipping around real fast headed straight at things is your idea of fun. And then what the heck do you do once you’re up there? Hang on tight, okay, I get that part. But I mean, we already know what the ground looks like, right? So why be dangling yourself perilously up there when you could just be walking on solid ground?
