The Weasel & The Whistling Podiatrist

Paul Busman (BREWERPAUL) sent this picture taken during his wedding festivities. It features Paul and the great Glenn Schultz. “The picture was taken on the Dutch Apple cruise boat sailing on the Hudson River,” writes Paul,“The women behind me and Glenn are our friend Dawn, and Viki.”

What a great picture! I don’t know Paul very well (don’t know anyone very well on this board) but it looks like he’s pretty happy!

(still wondering about the Crystal People thing in the newsletter…)

That’s cool.

So exactly who married whom, here? ;0>

that’s so cool! I have been emailing back and forth with Paul about maybe getting a whistle made by him. He haad mentioned he was getting married! (He’s great to work with and very helpful! Just to let everyone know!)

(Realized that my first post made no sense, so had to fix that)

I’m not sure. I think Paul may have “married” Glenn. It’s not legal, really. But, you know, not that there’s anything WRONG with it…

Great pic! I just hope when they get back from the honeymoon Paul will send us a picture of his lovely Charlene.

I think it is legal on a riverboat. Especially on the Hudson. As long as they stay on the east side of the river.

Congratulations and best wishes, Paul!

It is great to see a new picture of Glenn. I still owe him a case of wine from our last venture. To all, if you don’t know Glenn Schultz, he is a great guy, wonderful poet, and whistlemaker par excellence…

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Paul anyway!

I’ve been married to the same wife for twenty-seven years - in spite of tin whistle and even uilleann pipes, so it can be done (notwithstanding all those pipers’ favourite tunes like “My former wife”, “I buried my wife and danced on top of her” etc.).

I have often thought that deafness should not be permitted to preclude anyone from leading a happy and fulfilled life! A handicap to some, a boon to others.
