OK, so who’s going to post the ABCs for the tune Prichard plays in that clip? His fingering for the first phrase looks about right to me.

The abc file I have doesn’t seem to be working over at concertina.net (might be corrupt?). I had this image saved, not sure where I got it, let me know if it looks right to you guys (I’m still working my way up to those high notes :slight_smile: )

Good luck with the notes. You’re also going to need a whistle that is capable of not only reaching, but sustaining the third D without sounding shrill or have too much air in the sound. On the inexpensive side, the Dixon Trad does a great job. The Freeman MelloDog does ok too. The Hudson Wind is the best high ender that I’ve found. A Sweet Dymondwood from a few years back could handle it too. Not an easy piece, only because of the upper notes.

If you can find the recording of the composer, Jay Chattaway, playing piano and his daughter playing the whistle (a Generation), it’s a real treat. The full orchestra version is moving.
