I tried to order one of Phil’s Chieftain V3 whistles at the end of his sale and had difficulty with the order. I presume the sale had ended this weekend. Phil and I had been in communication for the last week with me trying to decide which key to buy. When I tried to place the order something happened in the transmission and the order was declined. I said to myself, “Just my luck now the sale is over.” I contacted Phil yesterday and he emailed me with another way to conclude payment of the transaction. I am glad he is not like some that would just tell you, “Sorry the sale ended.” Instead he told me, “Let’s make this easy”, and sent me another method to pay for the whistle. I am very grateful to Phil and thank him very much for helping me so swiftly with this situation.

I hope you enjoy your V3 as much as I do. I have a V3 Low D that I just recorded a tune with.

I played into the microphone and watched my electronic tuner with every note. It turned out pretty good.

In addition to the V3 I just purchased a used Chieftain Gold Low D… another keeper. Phil makes a nice whistle.

Let me add thanks to Phil H. too. I picked up one of the closeout Lo D whistles. He was very helpful when the site wouldn’t take paypal, and the whistle arrived very promptly even though coming from across the pond. It is a nice whistle too…from a nice person.
