Thank you all the people who do this superb forum possible, specially the moderators for they patience and support. ![]()
Been member of this forum it’s a very important thing to me. As a galician, there’s a very few ways (if not the only one) to find people to share experiences about UP and discussing, talking, joking and learning UP (in my country there’s a million pipers who plays gaita galega, but we are very few ones trying to play the uilleann). I suppose that another people out US or Ireland, with the same difficulties, feels this forum is a very very useful resource. So we should take care it and enjoy!

I echo the comments of Golego Man. As an American and a relatively
newcomer to the UP’s, I really appreciate the comments of more experienced players. This forum has been very helpful to me as I am
sure it is to many other players. It has also been fun to share the
mystic of the pipes with other players. This is a very worthwhile forum.
Keep up the good work.

Yup, I’ve also found this forum very useful as I have no teacher/local club. Lets keep it fluffy! It’s much nicer to feel part of a community of like minded souls than to feel at war! It was quite sad that when the first ‘Floating Tionol’ was a success this actually upset some people! (People i’ve never even met either.)
To hell with the begrudgers and good luck to the new moderators. I suppose Joseph (Florida) could always hunt down bad mouthed members and shove some fresh cane where the sun don’t shine!
