Teacher in Akron/Cleveland, Ohio?

I live about 25 miles south of Cleveland, Ohio. Can anyone help with an irish/wooden flute teacher suggestion in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area?

I thought I was the only wooden flute player in N.E. Ohio. I’m not good enough to be a teacher, though. I just added flute to my whistle collection to add a different sound.

There are several wooden flute players in the NE Ohio area. Two of us play in a small band out of the Kent area. There is also a guy who played with a group called The Bog Carrot, used to have a regular session in Green. I understand there is a regular session at the Hibernian Club in Ellett, near SE Akron, smokey, so I’ve never been there. There is also a regular Irish sesiun in the Warren area, which I attend when I get the chance. I’m problably not in town often enough to do lessons, but I wouldn’t mind meeting.

I don’t know if you’re still looking for a flute teacher in the Cleveland area, but if so I could probably help you out some. I’ve been playing Irish flute about 13 years. I’m somewhat new to Ohio and so don’t know if there are all that many Flute players in the area. rappltg@xcelnet.net
