Please. One Denny is enough.
I was not napping.

The reason it’s in pet stores is for pet beds.
Oh! Thank you.
Who’d want to sleep on that?
dogs…
mostly the ones that are not allowed on furniture,
when yer there.
oh, and the big ones definitely need cushioning.
But it’s all bumpy and stuff.
If ya don’t cover it in something fairly strong yer 180 pound Great Dane will have it shredded before it hits the ground.

But…cover or no, it’s still bumpy underneath. Not the most salubrious of settings for a bed, I should think: even the softer foams would be poking at you a little. But then, I’ve never taken my repose on eggcarton foam, so I don’t really know. Still, the idea sounds, well, at least potentially aggravating.
you could turn it over ![]()
Why, yes! Yes, I suppose I could. That was silly of me.
But then…why have the convolutions in the first place?
why don’t ya take that question to da clerk at the pet store?
or wait fer Charlene ta show up…
We’d just throw 'em a couple o’western saddle blankets.
So IOW it hasn’t actually been an exercise in pulling teeth, here, like I thought…you guys have just been pokin’ at me. In a helpful way. Sort of like when my cat lies down on the laundry I’m trying to fold.
Well, that’s basically my style, too.
I’m here!
If you put it with the bumpy side down, it’s warmer because the air is trapped underneath in all the little holes so it’s better insulation. If you put it with the bumpy side up, it’s cooler because the air flows through the holes under you or the dog. At least that’s the theory. Egg crate pads used to be sold as camping pads to put under a sleeping bag in a tent. Now it looks like the pads in camping supply places are either the solid foam or inflatable. We used to use the egg crate pads while camping but I never thought they were very comfortable.
hiking is solid or inflatable
camping nobody has to carry anything farther that from the car ![]()
Nano said he wanted egg-carton foam but egg crate is all most places have, it’s so convoluted. BTW don’t use open cell fer camping unless it’s warm out.
I just love it here. Sooner or later someone knows something about anything. Thanks, Charlene. ![]()
