Southern California Uilleann Pipers Club website update

Hi y’all,

I’ve updated Patrick D’Arcy’s excellent SCUPC site to now include a page of recordings of our “Tunes of the Month”.

These are tunes that over the past couple of years have been taught by me, Patrick, Cathy McFadden, and Richard Cook at our monthly meetings.

We plan to make regular updates to the tune collection so please check in from time to time.

Enjoy!

Nice job Eskin. I enjoyed seeing all the photos, and matching faces with names with a few C&Fers. That Ted guy looks about twice as tall as the rest of you guys! I’ll go back and have a listen to the sound clips.

Eskin, who’se pipes are those pictured at the top of the homepage with the metal soundbox? Great site.

It’s a ca 1940s Leo Rowsome D set that belongs to Kevin Rowsome.

I want to make sure that those who did the work get the credit due, since I had just a very small part in the site.

Patrick D’Arcy did all the work putting together our fine club site, all I did was to add the tune pages and post the .mp3 files.

Patrick has reorganized the tunes page to group the tunes by type, we’ll add hornpipes, slip jigs, slides, airs, etc. as the recordings become available.

Cheers,

Michael
