I spoke with Loren about this flute and his cocus allergy. He indicated that if he lightly coats the entire flute in Vaseline or a similar petroleum jelly half an hour before playing he’s usually unaffected by the cocus. You can ask him more about it. Maybe he’ll post his technique here? Loren?

Chris, you should have counseled your friend to at least double the selling price. Quite a steal for Loren. I can’t imagine why anyone would want a flute they’re allergic to.
