I’ve finally settled on a Delrin R&R flute. The material suits my travel and location and I find the Rudall suits me better as well.

My budget being what it is (non-existent), I need to let go of my Copley & Boegli. What a hard decision it’s been. I’ve looked around here for anything else I could sell to make up the funds but alas, the lifestyle I’ve chosen is a one-flute lifestyle. So…

It’s the three piece African Blackwood model with silver rings but withoug the tuning slide. I’ve taken great care of this flute. It’s been a great teacher to me. I’m asking for $483 shipped in the US.

Good idea! Ever since I got my amazing Copley & Boegli Delrin flute, I’ve been wondering what the Blackwood version is like. Seems that kind of thinking can get you in trouble though!

I know there are many who have commented here about the slideless Blackwood Copley being a really nice flute, so it’s definitely got a following going! If it’s anything like the Delrin (and it should be-based on the same flute), it should be a winner. What surprised me was the big bottom end on the Delrin-very nice! The response too!

Go get it boys and girls-should be a beaut! Dave’s workmanship is first rate too. It would be gone, if I had a bigger flute box!
