SLPC - Saturday's meeting...

We had our second gathering of the Salt Lake Piping Club on Saturday and while we only had about half our number show up, my good friend Chans showed up with his piano accordion to make up for the five or so pipers who were missing! :thumbsup:

All in all a great time with three new tunes learned, plenty of reed making and tweaking, a healthy dose of barbeque, a mini recital of sorts and a great session afterwards. We’ll be getting together to host a tent at this year’s Scottish Festival and Highland Games as well. We had two new pipers show up and with luck they’ll both stick with it as well.

Nice pipes Brian, I am still waiting for mine :sniffle: . I recieved my shirt for my baby, and the UP sticker for my Jeep the other day, thanks. Do you think you guys will start offering the thongs in leather soon?

Ah, Brian, so you really aren’t that old guy riding naked on the bike! Shucks!!

I only wear the old guy suit on the weekends. It give me something to do. And I mean come on - if you’re gonna streak, ya might as well do it on a motorbike right? :slight_smile:
